Reading Challenge – Series Crackdown Update

Series Crackdown is a reading challenge hosted by The Book Moo. The aim of the game is to read as many books in a series over the span of 10 days. This challenge lasted from February 9 until February 18. During the challenge, there are nightly reading sprints, as well as an Instagram challenge.

I completed Series Crackdown! Hooray for me, and for everyone who participated! This challenge has truly been so much fun, not only reading the books, but joining in on the reading sprints, and tweeting along with everyone else has been so great. I’ve found lots of incredible new blogs and Twitters to follow, and I have a new series to add to my favourites list! All in all, an amazing reading challenge.

During Series Crackdown 3.0, I managed to read two books: A Court of Thorns and Roses, and A Court of Mist and Fury, both by Sarah J. Maas. I read a total of 1,042 pages.

I had been wanting to start this series since before the first book came out. I kept putting it off, until suddenly there were three books out and I had read none of them.

I am so happy that I decided to join in on Series Crackdown, because I have fallen head over heels in love with this series. You can read my review of ACOTAR here. My review of ACOMAF will follow shortly.

Without Series Crackdown, these gorgeous books would still be sitting on my shelf unread. If you have any series that you’re dying to read but haven’t gotten to yet, I urge you to join me in participating in the next Series Crackdown, which will be from May 25th until June 3rd!

And PS – in case you were confused, after seeing my own name in ACOMAF, I have decided to start using my real first name online. I promise I’m a nicer person than my namesake in the books!

Love, Ianthe
